Brad Ford, ICT Infrastructure Consultant & Bush Schools’ Network Project Manager, Catholic Education Office WA - 2010
With the implementation of the SOESoft RDMC fleet management tool as part of the Bush Schools’ Network project, regional, rural and remote Catholic and Independent schools can now know the ‘where, when and how’ of their ICT Environments, throughout 58 schools and over 10,0000 workstations. This has helped to reduce the disparity between regional schools and larger metropolitan schools in the area of ICT Management.
Through the software and training, RDMC has increased the capability for consistency and manageability across the schools through the ability to both present information and provide detailed reporting around IT hardware and software. All regional schools now have a common framework of ICT tools to assist them in understanding and operating computers in the classroom, and now collaborate with each other moving into the future.
“For the Catholic Education Office of WA, the RDMC Solution is now considered one of the organisations core service offerings for regional schools through Western Australia.”
Tony Duffield, Network Administrator, Geraldton Grammar School, WA - 2010
"Working in an educational environment where there is never enough time, or funds available for IT, the SOE Framework has provided our school with a way to both quickly and easily develop a comprehensive Standard Operating Environment.
I was amazed at how quick and effective this software was to use. There is simply nothing else like it in the market and the support from the guys at SOESoft was excellent.
Something that would have taken weeks, I have just managed to complete in two hours. One hour to install and another to create the school's SOE."
