Application Packaging into my SOE?
The framework installer is an agnostic solution which can utilise most types of automated application packagers.  Many modern applications can be easily deployed without the need for packaging, and graphical configuration tools make importing and configuring applications significantly easier. SOE Software offers web portal, presenting pre-packaged applications for selection, customisation which can be automatically added into the existing applications.

Configuration of the SOE Framework
Configurationcan be easily made by importing background images, default user profiles, and by using the script generator to customise your build. Additionally, the framework will allow complete configuration of the build process, including the ability to add scripts into the build process. The included utilities allow for the build process to automatically customise itself based on hardware type, OS version, and a range of other parameters.

What hardware is supported?
The framework comes with a generic driver set suitable for most types of common hardware currently available. In addition, SOE Software provides driver sets with specific support for a range of models from hardware vendors including HP, IBM, Toshiba, and DELL. Customers under maintenance receive regular driver pack updates, with support for new hardware types as they become available.

What are the prerequisites?
Version 2.0 of the SOE framework requires a Windows 2000 or higher server with RIS or WDS installed. At the time of release, the framework supports SOEs based on Windows 7, Windows XP, with support for Windows-XP 64 bit, as well as Vista and Vista-64.
