SOESoft announces self installing capabilities in the latest release of its Remote Desktop Management Centre - RDMC V7
SOESoft has combined inbuilt support for maintaining and updating standard operating environments (SOEs) with enterprise management capabilities. Both concepts promise significant benefit to organisations of all sizes, but have previously been adopted only by larger ones, due to the high costs of implementation.
RDMC as a software solution assists operations and financial managers to better control, maintain and support their Microsoft-based desktop and server assets. This is conducted through hardware monitoring, software asset tracking, software license management, software distribution, patch management and remote control functions and extensive reporting.
Based on the experience gained on the organisations most recent project work, SOESoft has developed and released the RDMC ‘self install’ capability. This unique approach to a traditionally enterprise style solution now enables organisations of a SME size to function effectively. This is delivered through improved support, reduction in volume and resolution of IT incidents and significant reduction in both the IT project time and total cost.
Utilising the latest ‘out of the box’ self install capability and considering the solution doesn’t require any additional infrastructure to function effectively. RDMC can be justified for SME customers without a reduction in its capability ability to scale to the largest of enterprises.
As a result in a marketplace, dominated by US-based heavyweights, utilising RDMC means the total costs of ownership (TCO) for this traditionally enterprise management solution can now be delivered to organisations not just of the enterprise size.
